Antonio Josef de Armas and his family departed Santa Cruz, Tenerife on the Paquebot San Juan Nepomuceno on December 9, 1778 destined for Louisiana. The family arrived in the settlement of Barataria and received supplies on July 20, 1779. Based on the supply list the family relocated to St. Bernard (Tierra de Bueyes) November 1782.
